National Youth Parliament Competition
The National Youth Parliament Competition is an annual program organized to foster democratic values, encourage public speaking, and enhance parliamentary awareness among students. This initiative provides a platform for young minds to develop their debating skills, express their viewpoints on national and international issues, and gain insights into parliamentary procedures.
As part of the 35th National Youth Parliament Competition (2024-25), Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) successfully organized the Zonal Level Competitions in November 2024 across three zones:
- Central Zone: Hosted at Bhopal
- West Zone: Hosted at Ahmedabad
- South Zone: Hosted at Bengaluru
- East Zone : Hosted at Bhubaneswar
The events witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who showcased exceptional debating and parliamentary skills. The discussions highlighted their awareness of pressing national issues and their ability to articulate innovative solutions.
The competitions were conducted seamlessly, strictly adhering to the prescribed guidelines. They were evaluated by officials deputed by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (HQ), Delhi, ensuring fairness and upholding the program’s high standards.
This initiative continues to inspire and empower students, encouraging them to contribute meaningfully to the democratic process and the nation’s development.
