Dear Students, Teachers and Parents,

Warm wishes to all of you on the Foundation Day–2025 of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

The extraordinary journey of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, which began in 1963 with just 20 regimental schools, has transformed into a vast network of 1,289 Kendriya Vidyalayas, illuminating the nation with the light of exceptional education. Over these six decades, KVS has not only established a strong benchmark for quality education but has also emerged as an influential, reliable and inspiring institution in the field of national education.

On this path of development, Kendriya Vidyalayas have travelled from chalkboards to Al-enabled smart boards, embracing advanced technology. KVS has consistently implemented robust academic systems, innovations, technological advancements, and best practices to ensure the finest education for its students. Aligned with the vision of NEP 2020, KVS has been actively advancing learner-centred, skill-oriented, and future-ready education across all its schools. As a result, our Kendriya Vidyalayas have become a guiding model for other educational institutions.

Over the years, Kendriya Vidyalayas have achieved remarkable accomplishments in diverse fields such as academics, culture, sports, innovation, technology, and value-based education. Our students have brought pride to the organisation through their outstanding performance across India and abroad. Likewise, our dedicated teachers and staff have continuously elevated KVS to new heights with their unwavering enthusiasm, commitment, skills, and sustained efforts.

The noteworthy achievements of KVS in the field of education have led to a growing demand for new Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country. Keeping in view the trust and expectations of citizens, the Government of India has sanctioned 57 new Kendriya Vidyalayas.

Behind the glorious journey of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan stand the dedication of more than 56,000 teachers and staff, the talent of 13 lakh students, the unwavering trust of lakhs of parents, and the distinguished achievements of our alumni.
I firmly believe that this educational journey of service, dedication, and success will shine even brighter in the coming years, and KVS will continue to write golden chapters of excellence.
