Lieutenant Colonel Hari Ram Ojha has assumed the charge of OSD (Defence) on 23 December 2019. The Officer is from Army Educational Corps of Indian Army. He is an alumnus of National Defence Academy, Pune and Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. He was commissioned in December 2001 into 10 th Battalion Dogra Regiment where he served during OP-PARAKRAM in desert sector and Andaman & Nicobar Command. He was transferred to Army Educational Corps in 2004. His academic qualifications include M.A.(English Literature), M.sc(Applied Psychology) & B.Ed. He is also a qualified counselor and did his course in Guidance and Counseling from Defence Institute of Psychological Research, New Delhi. The officer has garnered rich operational, administrative and instructional experience serving in various field formations and category A&B establishments of Indian Army. His previous tenure was at Officers Training Academy, Gaya. His areas of interest are Educational psychology and International Affairs and he likes to dedicate himself for social causes.
